Beloved husband of Jo-Ann (Sikora) Mailloux predeceased 2016. Loving father of Jeremy (wife Colleen) and Ryan (wife Julie). Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Joel, and Dexter. Loving son of Joseph and Blanche Mailloux predeceased. Dear brother of Emile (Carol), Paul (Brenda), André (Jim), Claude (Kaija), and Nicole (husband Brian Hindley). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Richard enjoyed socializing and visiting with family and friends. He had a passion for hockey, being an enthusiastic and knowledgeable fan for the Montreal Canadiens. He loved playing chess with his grandson. Rick was very committed to his loving family and he made sure his sons had opportunities for post-secondary education. He will be remembered as the life of the party who embraced life and lived it to the fullest, always having a positive attitude and seeing the best in any situation.
