All of my dearest thoughts and memories of uncle Jim were created when I was a young boy. They spanned the time from when he lived at home with Grandpa and Grandma, his wedding with Jeannine, the fun and happy guy at camp driving his sister, my mom Isobel, around in the Model A, my model car teacher when they lived close by in Ottawa for a brief time, the chef who made huge trays of delicious lasagna and the kind and gentle man in whose loving hands cradled his cats.

Jim was always happy and up beat. What lucky boys are Art, Mark and Robin to have had this man as their dad. He was a wonderful provider for Jeannine and their family.

I am fortunate to have had him as my uncle.
