Sorry to learn of John's passing. St. David School was a remarkable place to journey with John's presence. Known as "Sir" and his lab coat, JOhn was a remarkable and unforgettable presence of energy, enthusiasm, wisdom, quick wit and dedication. The community of St. David was due in part to John's commitment to students, including daily, early morning and late afternoon sports with students, buying students supper and shoes, and driving anywhere in his truck that was needed for St. David School. The murals in St. David School on Jean Street were envisioned by John. I was blessed to have worked with John as my vice-principal, mentor and friend for five years on our teaching journey.
