In loving memory of Peter Samuel Jarus, 79 years, who passed away Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at his home. Beloved husband of Anna (Semjonov) Jarus predeceased 1992. Loving father of Andrew of Sudbury and Peggy Flewelling (Rob Redmond) of Staynor. Dear father-in-law of Philip of Garson. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Patricia, Jonathan, great grandchildren Rhyanne, Abigail, MacKenzie, Christian and great great grandchild Anthony. Dear brother of John (Kathleen) of Burlington, Mary McCutcheon of Whitefish Falls and predeceased by Kathleen. Dear friend of Ingrid Dobson. Peter married Anna in Sudbury in 1952. He worked for over 30 years at the INCO Smelter, retiring as Plant Operator. Peter served for many years with the Waters Volunteer Fire Department. He was active in the Lion's Club, Boy Scouts and as a sidesman at Christ Anglican Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, golf and in younger days he played softball.
