Peacefully, Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at Health Sciences North with loved ones at her side.

Beloved wife of Don Belfry predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Lynne Belfry, Glen Belfry (Shannon), Jane Hendry and Brian Belfry (Liane). Cherished grandmother of Nadia Ross (Jarvis), Dorothy Farncombe (Jeff), Danica, Shayna, Tarryn, Kayla, Madison, Chelsea, Tabitha, Grace and Emily and great grandchildren Sylvia and Carter. Dear sister of Gwen Whissel and predeceased by Evelyn Beaton, Doreen McKinty and Lyall Beaton.

Bobby was Past President of the Eastern Ontario Chapter of the United Church Women. A graduate of the University of Toronto, she taught school for 8 years in various communities. Bobby loved her retirement years at her Long Lake home. It was a special place of many happy gatherings with family and friends. She was a women of great faith who live the lessons of love taught by Jesus as a good shepherd and Samaritan to all she met. Her passions included Sudbury, singing and athletics . The focus of her life was her family, taking great interest and pride in their activities and accomplishments. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her as she now echoes the words of St. Paul “I fought the good fight, I finished my course, I kept the faith.” God Bless you Bobby!
