Click here to view all obituariesSaul was my experienced flight instructor as I learned to fly in Sudbury. We went on lots of trips together before I had my license with him officially as "pilot in command". Some of the trips were near death experiences but Saul was steady and never lost control.
Saul was a frequent visitor to my transmission shop on the Kingsway and always ready to do favors for me. Once he recovered a vehicle for me after the owner took off without paying. On another occasion when my whole staff left me stranded, Saul came in with his little tool box and went to work helping me get by until I could re-staff the shop.
On one summer day Saul flew me in to his father's Val D'Or camp in a small float plane. I was treated royally by his friends and family. Back in his father's clothing store I watched as his father's busines partner made Saul take off his ugly clothes and put on something new.
I will miss Saul. He was a giving, honest , and caring friend to me and to many more.
