Gordon Freimut Herold
HEROLD, Gordon – It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Herold. Gord passed away Saturday June 29th, 2013 building his camp on Tomiko Lake at the age of 50. Loving husband and best friend of Debra Herold. Dear son of Johannes (predeceased) and Erna Herold and son-in law of Cecil (predeceased) and Claudette Peterson. Loving and awesome father of Dayna, Kyle and Courtney (predeceased) Herold. Dear brother of Manfred (wife Paula), Ralph (wife Sandy) and Glenn (wife Lina). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Gord had many passions in his life. He was his children’s biggest fan and supporter when it came to their sporting activities. He spent the last 35 years of his life in the concrete world of Browns Concrete. He made many contributions of his expertise and knowledge towards creating many new concrete products. He was an active member of the Magnessipi Lodge. He loved fishing and hunting and sharing laughs with his close and dear friends. He was a member of the Lions Club of Sudbury and also the Masonic Lodge. He was a volunteer fire man for the Tomiko Lake Fire Department. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
