Thursday, October 27th, 2016 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Manilla (Cirelli) Cirelli. Loving father of Antonietta “Toni” (Jim Little), Peter (Janice), Mary (Duco) and Franco (Josie). Cherished Nonno of Douglas (Julie), Laura Imbeau (Gates), Alessandra and Lucio and Bis-Nonno to Spencer.

Lucio was born and raised in Molise, Italy. He moved to Canada in 1951, settling in Sudbury in 1953. He worked at Falconbridge Ltd. for 30 years, retiring in 1984 as a drill mechanic. A longtime volunteer at local hospitals, he was always quick to help others. A devout Roman Catholic, he was a founding member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. He was an accomplished welder, avid gardener and enthusiastic wrestling fan. Lucio will be remembered as a very well liked and happy person who made friends easily and lived life to the fullest.

Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
