84 years
Peacefully Friday October 2nd, 2015 at Health Sciences North.

Beloved husband of Genevieve C. “Jenny” (nee Pelletier) Ward. Loving son of William and Lucy (Wooley) Ward both predeceased. Dear brother of Doris Ward, Phyllis Irwin (Gordon), and William (Lois) all predeceased. Will be sadly missed by his sisters in law, brother in law, his nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Gord loved the outdoors, both winter and summer, especially his cottage at Georgian Bay where he fished in all seasons. He was an avid skeet shooter in his younger years. Gord was a proud member for over 50 years of the ACT/UCT and enjoyed selling Christmas hams for them. He was always interested in knowing what his nieces and nephews were doing.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Health Sciences North, North Tower 4th Floor Palliative Care for all their support and care for Gordon.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Bonaventure Church (Killarney) or the Killarney Health Centre would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
