Peacefully, Monday, June 29th, 2015 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side.

Beloved husband of Gemma Muia (nee Muscolo). Loving father of Ines Verrilli and Frank Muia (wife Beth). Father in law of Vincenzo Verrilli. Cherished Nonno of Francesco Verrilli (Amber), Jessica Verrilli, Tina Collins (husband John), Brianna Muia, Joseph Muia and Olivia Muia. Great grandfather of Gemma Collins. Dear son of Francesco and Ines Muia predeceased. Dear brother of Guiseppina Niceforo (deceased), Nicola Muia, Domenico Muia and Maria Lombardo. Will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.

Giuseppe was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly. He loved sports, especially soccer and was also a great fan of the Detroit Red Wings.

The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at the Walford for their care and sharing many laughs along the way and to his Personal Support Worker, Monique for her dedication. They also would like to thank the medical and health care staff at Health Sciences North for their care over the years.
