Condolence: I was so very shocked to read this in the paper, not ever knowing Marisa was ill. I have so many wonderful memories of Marisa who was a top notch piano student of mine for so many years. It is so sad to hear of her passing at such a young age. I pray to
God to wrap her in his loving arms. Such a loss. All my prayers and thoughts to her family.

Condolence: Alberto what can I say. I was so proud to be Marisa's colleague and friend. You broke my heart today as we passed by your house to see Maverick sitting there waiting to say goodbye to Marisa. Please know that you did everything possible to make her happy. I am so happy to call you my friend. My family and I will do anything for you, all you have to do is ask. You blessed me by asking me to be a pallbearer today, I will cherish this memory for ever. Condolence: To one of the most special families in my childhood and life - Steve, Mike, Tricia - Mrs. Smania.

Marisa was a gem. She had the act of humorously sarcastic criticism down to an art. I know, 'cause I was often a target always in good fun - from the childhood lawn cutting days at the old camp on Long Lake, to many a late night in high school on Lincoln or in Toronto, she was there and always in the kindest and warmest of spirit - which we all know was her nature and fundamental to her character.

She taught me to ski at Nordic - I suppose if you consider 'teaching' pointing an 11 year old down the mountain and shouting "ok, go!" The bottom of my skis never really saw the snow, and I heard a lot of laughter up top as I struggled to survive, but eventually it worked and I have been grateful to her for a lifetime for those experiences bringing Steve and I skiing - among many other wonderful times.

Time sure does fly.

Condolence: Tricia and Wayne - we're so sorry to hear about Marisa's passing. I can't believe I worked with her 35 years ago at Bonimart - she was contentious and hard working and I always remember the pride she took in herself and her work. Trish I'm sorry for your pain and loss.
